Saga of Tanya the Evil: The Movie · review

What's not to love? It's more Tanya with even better fight choreography and an opponent who can actually take her on. That automatically elevates this movie over the first season, which was let down a bit by its fights. All the hits are here including the manic energy that Tanya is known for expressing, and while I do miss some aspects of the original series (speaking with the godly being directly was part of the appeal), it's still working exceptionally well. It ends up not leading to any dramatic shifts in the status quo, but it does give an intriguing segway into S2.
