Probably a masterpiece in the anime world. The story focuses on the deep passion in the main characters' hearts and how they struggle to make it a reality,which is beautifully felt throughout the series. You can feel the tension one feels while his/her favourite team faces a stronger team. The enjoyment becomes much more if you haven't read the manga. For the sounds,I think they successfully give the sense of thrill and tension and 'do or die' sensation that you feel in a match. Anyone who loves sports will love it. Even if you're not a sports fan,you should give it a chance.
