Review of Parasyte: The Maxim

Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu. I started this anime one night around 4 a.m. I was super bored and couldn't sleep so I stumbled across this anime while I was looking at the popular charts on CrunchyRoll. That night I finished every episode there was out up until that time. This anime kept me captivated and wanting more as I continued to watch. The storyline was unique compared to the other animes that i watched previously and was an overall good experience. There were some things that I did not like about this anime such as the ending that I won't give too much details other thanI felt like it was lacking. The supporting character development was slow so it was hard to get attached to some of the characters.
In the end, I rate this anime an 8/10. The lack of details and poor character development in the supporting characters prevent me from giving it a higher score but the unique story and the cliffhangers at almost every episode makes this anime a very good anime in my opinion.
