Review of [Oshi No Ko]

Oshi no Ko deals with the darker side of the entertainment and showbiz industries as well as a mystery side plot which I won't delve into to go into spoiler territory. While the anime's pace, animation, music (especially if you are an idol or band animes fan) and characters are well done and border on excellent sometimes, the anime can't seem to latch onto a certain tone or major plot thread; At times it's whimsical and funny, other times, it's dark and downright depressing. The mystery aspect of it has also been severely lacking, at least in the first season, and that bummed me outsince it was the reason I continued to watch it.

With that being said, this anime is definitely well-made and thought out. It's a shame that am not in the target audience for it.
