Review of BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense.

Ok so nothing I say is new but here’s my grain of sand. It’s the show perfect? No. Is it well crafted? No. Is the story memorable? No. So why I recommend it? Simple, because despite all its flaws it’s very charming and cute without being corny. And it never gets boring with all the craziness. The protagonist is pure friendship without being overbearing. And the other characters add to it adding their own charm. There’s no tension and sometimes that’s good, because anime tends to be high stakes and high tension and that can be exhausting. It’s fun and that is good for me. Don’ttry to get some profound meaning because Bofuri is just pure enjoyment. If you watch it with that mindset you’ll enjoy it too. This series can be the relaxing vacation between, I don’t know, Attack on titan and Death note.
