When this anime first aired, I dropped it after two episodes because of how bizarre and cringe it felt at times. Recently, I decided to give it another shot, and honestly, my opinion hasn’t changed much. The anime never really tries to be serious—it feels exaggerated from start to finish. In fact, I don’t understand why comedy isn’t listed as one of its tags, because that’s exactly how it comes across: a light, goofy ride without any real stakes. Artstyle and animation are surprisingly solid for a show of this type. In fact, the visuals might even be too good for the level of writing. Overall, wouldI recommend it? Only if you’re looking for a casual, shallow, and slightly silly watch. If you expect anything deep, serious, or addictive, you’ll probably find it more cringe than fun.
