Review of Dr. Stone: New World

5.5/10 This season felt like it went by a bit too fast. Anything that fit the plot just kinda happens spontaneously, despite everything up until this point being a lengthy explanation or excursion to obtain. With death meaning nothing in this show, nor stakes ever meaning anything up until this point. You know that the main charecters will prevail no matter what happens. This type of writing is extremely uninteresting and gets boring. Each season more and more charecters get introduced and each of them remain one dimensional, which pains me each time more and more. The memory plot device of recalling everything perfectly felt abit too hand fed and really made things feel un earned.

New world is really devoid of the 'magic' that the first season was... and at this point we just watch because we are binging the junk food.
