It is really nice anime, especially compared to other BanG Dream! franchises, however, in my opinion, MyGO is slightly better. Ave Mujica takes a story that is engulfed in darkness and emotional complexity to deliver a refreshing yet challenging experience, unlike Bang Dream, which has mostly monotonous conflicts revolving around friendship, happiness, cheerfulness, and bright moods. I think Ave Mujica has revolutionized the idea of a girls' band being cheerful. Ave Mujica took a darker and psychological route as far as the storyline goes; emotionally weighing in to create a catharsis. The plot was not really a bang dream type; that was nice, but the majorityof it revolved around Mutsumi and Sakiko, while Nyamu and Umiri barely got any story development.

For the aesthetics, the band has a huge mass appeal, and the whole 'darker' gothic girl band concept has a direct appeal, and honestly, the theme of their music is my type, and the opening to the song "KillKiss" is legitimately stunning.
