Review of Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I'm Not the Demon Lord
For the beginning of the story, this anime is no different from most other anime, where the MC enters the world of the game he has played. Like knowing the storyline, what to do, and other precautions, but here Yumiella doesn't really focus on the Flashback, so it doesn't make it annoying to watch. Not like the Otome anime I've watched called Higeki no Genkyou to Naru Saikyou Gedou Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu, The MC mostly has flashbacks, then cries, meets someone he knows, flashbacks again, cries again, this Higeki anime is really annoying! The graphics and character designs are good, but notso much for the Dragons, and some of the other NPCs created using CGI, but it's not too much of a problem as they rarely appear on screen.
The downside for me is that the storyline is too fast, and it ends in only 12 episodes, if the story wasn't finished there might still be hope for a second season.
Another drawback, the battle is just normal, because the MC is too OP so if something happens, just use Black Hole and everything will be fine.
The Demon King also seems ordinary, not scary at all, the Demon King should be made with a scary and strong figure, but here... Ah never mind!
But even so, I still quite like this anime, because of the beautiful Yumiella and her behavior that makes me laugh.
