Despite occurring in a post-apocalyptic world, YKK is a story about love. Not love as in primarily romantic love, but the love of life, the love of living things, and a love for existing. A love for being alive. YKK's character's relationships are unusually warm, caring, and because of this, realistic. It is a warm and comforting read that encourages the reader to, like Alpha, love existing. Appreciate the invisible love that exists between living things, the warmth and chill of a day, and the entirety of a moment in time. If you enjoyed Girls Last Tour, you will enjoy YKK.
