my day is ruined. 10/10 A tragedy through and through, kaze to ki no uta or The Poem of the Wind and the Trees was a manga i struggled to read ,not just because of the not so good scans at the earlier chapters or it just being nonexistant in most sites ( i downloaded from the internet archive btw ) but because i just didn't wan't to keep goiing ,to see things just get worse and get worse chapter after chapter and when it finally gets better or in the end when im thinking 'ok the series is more or less wrappingup' no , it should get even worse .Especially the backstories but there was no getting better for gilbert , it was just tragedy page after page .
Honestly the mafia ruining gilbert's life felt kind of unsatisfactory ,but that's how things are sometimes i guess.I read the series thinking it was going to be a triumph at the end throughout.I wasn't let down or anything but i just feel cheated—kind of like Serge
