Watchable for Furries and Precure/Sailor Moon lovers alike. as someone who likes furries/anthros(animal characters with human sapience/characteristics) im attracted to this stuff like flies to shit LOL. its not amazing but its genuinely very decent and I like it. the mascot/furry characters get a lot more exposure and development than your average magical girl show like they're equals and that is the biggest appeal for me. the jewelpets/mascot characters are not sidekicks like in other magical girl shows but major characters. coming from someone who liked Onegai My Melody, Jewelpet feels like an improvement/development/evolution on that shows formula of funny shenanigans being resolved throughmagic and you learn to love the human characters overtime. Most of the jewelpets are cute and interesting enough and ruby is my favourite, their heads/eyes arent too big its just a chibi artstyle which i personally like.
