Samurai Champloo is the perfect example of a show where the final 5-ish episodes are so good, you forget how otherwise "regular" the show was. If i were to explain the show in one sentence, i'd say "the joy is in the journey" the mystery of the sunflower samurai wasn't really *that* interesting, I didn't really care, even when it was revealed, i found it pretty anticlimatic. So that's why i gave it a 7 in terms of story. Art was really good, especially considering its over 15 years old. The music and ambiance are top tier though, I'll give it that, voice acting too. Thecharacters were fine, I felt frustrated at how useless fuu was at times though, but i particularly liked jin's character.
The baseball episode was a 10.
