Review of Monster

For the lazy ones who don't have time to read everything. Story: 10/10 Animation: 8/10 (According to the period it was made it is a perfect 10/10 animation.) Sound: 10/10 (Especially musics are perfect.) Character: 10/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 (I enjoyed every single episode. I watched with pure attention) Overall: 10/10 Maybe it is too late to write a review for this anime, but i will try to do. This review does NOT contain spoilers. Before watching the serie, the only thing i heard about this serie is it has a tremendous villain. Actually this fact is enough for me to watch. I like interesting villains. So, without knowing anything I started towatch. It quickly catched me. Story were interesting enough to be catched. Music was used perfectly. Character development is incredebile. I don't think there is a side character in this story because every character could take the story and not let it go for 10 episodes. In the end, when you looked back, you can remember something about every character. It has rich world with interesting characters. Johann, Lunge, Grimmer, Tenma, Roberto all of them are interesting and unique characters for me. I gave this serie 10/10. My main criteria for this huge score is when I finished to watch I found myself thinking about story, philosophy of Johann, and Nihilizm. I felt sadness for finishing. Whenever I think about this story I found a new aspect to think and it sheds light on a new possible ideas. Only thing that Monster bothered me after i finished is the way ending of it. Story didn't tell you secrets clearly in the end. Instead, it spreads them through the story. You have to assemble important parts and make your conclusion like a detective. Firstly, I couldn't understand what this story trying to say to me. I thought there were a huge plot hole. My main questions weren't answered. So I made a quick research about it. I amazed what i found. Actually, story tells you everything. Only thing that you must do is remembering crucial details. I understand that 74 episode is long to do that. However, if you watch careful, you can see the perfect view of this gigantic puzzle called Monster. It was a wonderful experience. This serie will always take a place in my heart. Thanks to everyone who involved with the serie. If you like crime mystery with thriller and drama, you should watch Monster!
