Review of Bakemonogatari

One of few animes to actually take advantage of the medium to get creative and create artful and interesting scenes... it compares to serial experiments Lain in such a way. The forte is the characters; they feel real, fun, eccentric, and are much more than just accessories to the mc. Indeed this is one of few animes where the women are portrayed well (sorta). The dialogue is strong and creative throughout, and explores interpersonal relationships in a mature way; quite unlike most anime. I would give it a 9 if it weren't for the constant groping/sexualization of an elementary school girl, like what is up with Japanman
