Review of High School of the Dead

High school of the dead is another show in the zombie genre. Before I go on, I want to state that I find it utterly ridiculous that shows simply will not call zombies what they are. Zombies. That every show that is in the zombie genre avoids the word like the plague is rather silly to me. This show is no exception. While I don't think this show accomplishes anything exceptional it's a fun ride while it lasts. Though I don't like that most anime end with a "go read the manga" ending, which is pretty much what you get in this show. Everything about this show isfairly average, except I think the dub is better than the sub. It helps with the absurdity of having such fanservice in the show. The subs are kinda boring, I'll be honest about that.

Speaking of the fanservice, I thought it was pretty mild compared to other shows I've seen. Though, one caveat is that breasts simply do not function in the real world the same way they do in this show. It's just comical the way breast physics work in this show. To actually see a bullet go in between two breasts as they pretty much bounce independently of one another shows complete disregard for how forces work. Still, if it made me laugh, it means I was entertained.
