One of the best anime ever made, Monster has one of the best stories ever made and, above all, teaches you how to create a good villain. An anime that demonstrates a lot about the real world itself. We see anime as a way to escape reality, and in Monster, we go inside it. The evolution, mainly, of the protagonist having to deal with everything. His development shows himself as a doctor, and later, as someone ready to take someone's life. And we have to talk about Johan — one of the best villains ever created, and who demonstrates reality in a vivid way tothe viewer, we are afraid of him, because he is good and polite, but deep down he is a monster, he demonstrates a realistic villain, who he doesn't use power to be a villain, he uses something that we humans can use, that makes us afraid of him. Another thing to highlight is the demonstration of Johan, he as a villain is shown very few times, which creates an air of mystery, and also, demonstrates to the unpredictable sound a complete lack of understanding, which becomes good, because we don't know what he will do — he's unpredictable! That's why we're afraid of him. The anime shows a doctor who is good and empathetic, Johan is the opposite of him, but he is equal too. A monster who takes lives, and a doctor who saves her. The discussion, history and its highlights make this work, in my opinion, perfect! Grade 10.
