Review of Time of Eve
Yasuhiro Yoshiura is a writer and director where mostly his concepts are science fiction, now, one of his earliest works (excluding the stuff he did independently) is a very good comedy/sci-fi/drama about mostly androids. The story unfolds in different situations about androids and their "human" attitudes in a café, exploring more the relationship between being programmed and being able to express oneself with feelings. Especially the last episode shows more about this with one of the main characters and his former android. On technical aspects, there is a recurrence in Yoshiura's works that he uses a lot of digital (clearly he has a good sense here), withthe 3D camera being able to give shots that by hand would be more complex to do, the visual effects and other related works very well, the OST is delightful, the voice performances are amazing and the direction uff, this guy has a lot of potential.
8/10, has flaws that do not make this work to be a masterpiece or reach an excellence, clearly I recommend it and also explore what this guy has done, because for me he has a lot of potential, it just seems currently that he reached his ceiling of talent.
