Review of Ghost Hunt

I think Ghost Hunt is a great horror anime and one that really cares about accurate portrayal. In many supernatural anime I often find that the mechanics of the supernatural world are often made up or warped to fit the plot of the anime, however, in Ghost Hunt you can clearly tell that a lot of research was done to accurately portrayal the spiritual and psychic world by explaining different scientific experiments done to try and prove the existence of ghosts, they base things on theories widely used in the paranormal community, and eve the equipment used in the show are things that a realparanormal researcher might use. A lot of thought was put into the story so that it would be an accurate portrayal of what a paranormal researcher would do. The first few episodes can be a bit bland at times, but I think the later episodes more than make up for it, and the Bloodstained Labyrinth arc is one of my favorites. I wish that the studio had made a second season for this show, as they did not adapt the entire manga, but I think this is a fantastic show with great storytelling.
