If I had to pick a quote that perfectly describes the entirely of this anime. It would be this “Life is full of detours, sometimes the paths we take and the things we lost and gain, we remember the most”. Watching this anime, there is a constant flow and rhythm within it. It ebbs and flows almost naturally but still manages to have a firm grip within you. It’s truly binge-worthy in the way it entrances you in its world then takes you to the series of adventures and fun moments. Within the wider anime community, this anime is very beloved and for very good reason. Itmanages a have a diverse memorable cast, a tight storyline with many twists and turns, an incredibly imaginative and tactically sound power system. It’s truly the jack of all trades.

One of HXH’s biggest strengths has to be its ability to mix things up and use an element of chaos to keep the viewers hooked.

It perfectly grabs all of Shounen anime’s biggest strengths and hooks while also shedding its drawbacks.

It packs so much ideas and personality within it while also using them to their full potential.

The world-building is absolutely stellar. The soundtrack is memorable and the animation is amazing.

I want to say more but I feel that I may be overstaying my welcome. This is definitely an essential must-watch if you consider yourself to be a battle-shounen fan.

It's widely loved and has had a culturally impact within.

For these reasons alone, it definitely marks itself as one of my all-time favourites. It’s also one of my first anime I’ve ever watched. Even to this day, I’m still grateful for this series and others like it for helping me a feel and taste from the power of anime.
