I had this anime recommended to me several times before finally watching it and Story: This anime diverges from the manga, if you wanted just the manga's adaptation, stop watching this series after episode 13, then skip to Book of Circus. If you want the whole thing (which I recommend), watch this, then Kuroshitsuji II and then Book of Circus. The story in this was very well done, being a story that kept me thoroughly engaged throughout the entire binge- I mean, watching session. It never got too slow, but kept up a good level of action and believable, yet unpredictable twists and turns throughout. The9/10 is justified in my mind.

Art: The art in this anime is quite well done, smooth animation, coupled with a good drawing style, and consistency is a wonderful thing to have. 9/10 for art.

Sound: The soundtrack was pretty good for this anime, nice OP and ED, as well as some good OST in the background. 8/10 for sound.

Character: Grell is the single-most best thing I have ever experienced and with the best VA, Jun Fukuyama, he definitely had a wonderful time to shi-

Sorry, fangirled too hard again. Keeping a more composed review, I was glad to see a return of my favourite VA in a fun new character, that I greatly enjoyed and believed was a fun spot of comic relief every now and again. The main cast is also developed quite well, as mysteries surrounding the mysterious past are unfolded and you learn that everything is not as it seems or as you initially anticipated within the Earl of Phantomhive's mansion. I really like the voice cast for majority of the main characters and believe that this deserves it's 9/10 for characters.

Enjoyment: The enjoyment for me was a perfect 10/10. I found the pacing of the story was quite good, never getting too slow and always making me want to see more. I don't have too many bones to pick with this anime, from an enjoyment point of view.

Overall: I really enjoyed this anime and think that it ended quite perfectly, summing up everything with no loose ends, it is definitely something that I would recommend, but I do understand that it is not for everyone, and some view it as a primarily teen girl demographic, despite it's shounen tag. I would not like to throw my hat into the ring for that argument, but I will say that I can understand both sides' reasonings. Overall a good anime, 9/10.
