Review of Sword Art Online
I'm not a big fan of SAO. I like the idea and premise even though it has been done before, but this series shows that its not a premise that makes the show. I'll say that when I first started SAO it started alright, I was even hype. But as I continued watching, I noticed how many things bad happening just because, and not in the way of it just being a mistake, but that of being completely unreasonable like people choosing to die for no reason other than the show wanting to just have someone die. Though I could talk about talk about howthe game they're in is a badly thought out game or that the main character can do things, just cause, and doesn't even do the good or smart thing with what was displayed. No I believe the main problem is it's so rushed that there is never any depth. For instance and I can't believe I'm making an Adam Sandler reference, but his movie Click, there are multiple time lapses which confuses you and you wonder what has happened since. But here there are very few answers, so even are left wondering how much time passed and what has happened to which you don't get much of any answers. But if you're wanting to watch something just to pass the time without much for expectations, go for. Would I recommend Sword Art Online? Not normally no.
