Review of School Days

If you like animes like Love Hina or Onegai Teacher that feature cute stories about a guy getting the girl of his dreams against all odds then DO NOT WATCH THIS. This is by far one of the most disturbing storylines I have ever seen. What makes this anime so morbidly unique is that this is the first anime I have ever seen where I absolutely hated every single character in the entire show there was not a single lovable character in the entire show, with the main character being the most despicable of them all. Even though it starts out like any other romance/harem mangait gradually turns from happy, to depressing, to downright disturbing.

The main character is a selfish, lying, despicable, bastard, that has no sense of sincerity or responsibility. But honestly the other characters are no better, those kids are just as selfish and backstabbing.

But even though I hated each and every person in the story I found the unique story somewhat entertaining simply because I have seen few animes that I can compare this too. The only anime I can think of comparing it to is the equally controversial Higurashi animes.
