I assume u have read the whole summary so ill just get straight to the point Story 9.5/10 The story construction was brilliantly done and well executed to get its point of view, 6 friends who parted ways after losing of their friends, Honma Meiko(Menma). Each episode starts to build up connection between the friends and as they get closer and closer. It also shows bit pieces of clues as to show what exactly happened on that tragic day. Though it didn't state how Menma passed away, the director and studio did a great job as it was never needed to state. Sound 8.9/10 The soundtrack/background music gives thatvery peaceful kind of vibe. It goes really well as to each scenario is played. There's also soundtrack which gives that very cheerful, happy melody when the friends starts to remember their childhood memories, which to me honestly does reminds of my childhood.

Characters 9.5/10

Even though there were just 12 episodes total, the character build up went well then i entirely expected. Each character was fully explained and their personality like. They behaved and react like really normal person at this era especially the choices they make. It wasn't like that one character had that very special personality and everyone would only watch that because of that one character only.

Enjoyment 9/10

This is my personal view. I hadn't had this much feels and i cried... since Honey and Clover. Nagai, Tatsuyuki, if u guys aren't familiar with him, his the director of both of this shows so props to him again. All episodes were enjoyable and makes me curios as how it happen, why... etc. Though this show is a bit different as there less comedy on it compare to Honey and Clover. But is still fun to watch nonetheless and I'm glad to watch this beautiful story

Overall 9.3/10

First, I wouldn't entirely recommend this anime to those who aren't really into slice of life genre with less comedy. I did some experiment and show it a friend of mine who has just started watching slice of genre and we watched the entire episodes, he said, it wasn't that Masterpiece but i never regret watching it, thx for recommending it. Nevertheless, AnoHana shows how good of an original animation can be without relying entirely on manga, light novels..etc

Anyway this is my first review and if you have read it, thx and gladly appreciate it
