Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day
This anime definitely struck a cord with me. Made me cry, but i came out of it feeling more positive than with other endings. Death followed by growing distant with people seems to be a fairly obvious way to deal with grief, but everyone has their own special ways to deal with it specifically. For this, the story and characters are great. This anime definitely encourages me to improve my own writing drastically because making characters show so much emotion and passion through so little time is amazing. Loved this beautiful story, about flawed but wonderful characters, great voice acting and art that hit the mark withthe tone of the story and the overall mood of it.
If you are looking for a quiet day in with a few tears shed and a real heartfelt emotional ride, i think this is the one for you.
