Review of Shakugan no Shana: Season I
Another magnificent anime. The story was addicting. The creators made the episodes that the ending wasn't quite a cliff hanger, but a place that you could leave for a day, and not have to be too worried about what will happen next. The art was great. There were a few awkward looking things here and there, but all togeather, the art was great. Personally, I loved the theme songs and some of the background music. The only thing that bugged me with the sound was the little 'tense' music that plays before and after the commercials. The characters had their own personalities, but some lookeda bit like another. It was fine when it was just Shana, Yuji, and Ike. They all looked different from each other, but as other characters joined the plot line, they started to look a bit more like another. I enjoyed this series a lot. It was a great show, and had a great ending. I loved how the show wasn't just action and fighting. There were a few breaks where the characters calmed down, and there wasn't as much pressure as there is in other shows that just have fight scenes with no breaks. Overall, this series gets a nine out of 10. I loved it enough that I can re-watch it, but not as hooked as some people might get.
