Review of High School of the Dead

Highschool of The Dead aka H.O.T.D. was pretty epic. I started watching it thinking, "zombies + ecchi, lets see how this turns out." I ended up finishing all of the episodes in one day. I couldn't stop watching. I gave the story an 8. It was a well executed storyline, with developments and some surprises along the way.The only thing that somewhat annoyed me was the fanservice. The boobs were craziiy oversized and boingy, and the panty shots were endless. I gave the art a 9. All of the characters were drawn quite well, and that includes the zombies. There was a hell ofa lot of blood and gore, so if you have a weak stomach this anime is not for you. To go along with the blood and gore was the amazing sound. I gave the sound a 10. The voice acting was great and fit the characters perfectly. The sound effects and zombie moans were the best. The characters were an 8. There was some stereotyping, but I liked the way that the characters developed and matured as time went on. They faced moral dilemas, as well as some very personal situations.

Despite all of this, I enjoyed this anime 100%. I gave it a 10/10, because I have to say it was truly addicting. Overall H.O.T.D. was a 10. If you like blood and gore and ecchi I recommend you go and watch it right now.
