Review of Shiki

Probably my favorite show ever made. I like very creepy and scary shows, and this genuinely creeped me out. I went into the show without even looking at the plot so I had little idea what the "enemy" was for the first few episodes which made it all the more mysterious. My favorite part of the show is probably the sound design and music. It is so incredibly creepy and adds so much suspense to the show. It helps create a psychological horror and puts me at the edge of my seat. The whole genre of the show probably changes about half the way throughor a little further. I can't really pinpoint when but at some point it stops being scary and it turns into a pure psychological thriller. The show just continues to get darker though as time goes on. If you like dark shows, you'll probably love this one. I've watched it three times and I'll be watching it several more over the years.
