Review of School Days

School Days is primarily romance/drama/harem. The story is slow, boring and average but does have surprising moments with an insanely unexpected finale. It's worth watching if only for the ending. The story focuses around the character of Itou who first appears to be the good hearted and shy main character but throughout the series, he slowly morphs into the typical jerk who only thinks of himself and blames everyone around him for his problems. The story showcases the reality of immature relationships rather than the typical perfect romance we see designed to please fans. The characters aren't very likeable. Itou as previously mentioned becomes nothingmore than the embodiment of the typical jerk who treats women like trash.The girls in the series are rude, cruel, mean and manipulative with the only exception being Katsura who doesn't have much of a personality to hate although I did feel sorry for her.

This Anime is certainly worth watching for the twist ending which is completely unexpected but that's really the only good thing about this series. It's not very appealing as a harem but it's one hell of a drama ride.
