Words Worth · review
Unfortunately, no, this has absolutely nothing to William Wordsworth, so poet and literature fans will probably be disappointed by this. Unless you're a poet/literature fan who also happens to like spanking it to hentai. Then maybe you're the extremely rare person who's getting more out of this that the average hentai fan. I guess that person could exist, but enough about that, let's look at Words Worth. The focus of the story is the titular Words Worth tablet, which will unlock the secrets of the Universe for the one who can decipher it. Unfortunately, it has been shattered, and the warring tribes of Light and Shadowblame each other, and these accusations have lead to war. Will the forces of Light and Shadow destroy each other, or will the hero of our story, a man named Astral, eventually come along and help save the day?
For a hentai, the story is actually pretty good. Sure, 98% of all porn plots are trashfires that are simply meant to get the porn part of the porn going, but this one is good enough that I actually watched it for the plot. It's not super in depth, and uses a lot of anime fantasy cliches, but there is enough going on that kept me interested outside of what the intended use of this series was.
On the animation front, yet again, Words Worth actually really excels. The animation is the best part of this outside of the porn. The animation is smooth, and the art has a defined enough look that I can tell all of the characters apart, and if you're one of the 3 people who actually like watching the plot, you'll probably have a favorite character by the end of it. I never thought that I could talk this positively about a hentai, but here I am.
The sex scenes are top notch, and there is some nice stuff here, such as cat girls, tentacle sex, and a succubus, all of which is really good.
Weirdly enough, the English dub for this actually has something noteworthy for a Hentai dub. The English features the amazing voice talents of porn stars Jenna Jameson and Nikki Dial. I have literally no idea why two actual porn stars were chosen to dub a hentai, especially since you can't see them, which is the whole point of a porn star. From what I can gather, Jenna Jameson did have a short montage on the DVD release, but if you're looking for footage of Jenna Jameson, there is plenty of it that's easy to find. Of all of they hentai dubs I've heard, they're some of the better ones at least, which is not saying anything, let alone much. Although, some of the dialogue can actually be pretty amusing.
When it comes down to it, Words Worth is a classic hentai that should be worth (heh) checking out for someone wanting to rub one out to an older title.
