Review of Ranma ½

Ranma 1/2 is my all time fave anime. It is the greatest by Rumiko, in my opinion. (I was embarassed that got a R rating because I tend to avoid watching rated R stuff) Here are the details: Story:9 The story was very good. Some arcs were a bit dull, and the lack of an ending was frustrating, but oh well. Fangirls will savor the rare romantic moments. I loved how they stuck to the Martial Arts concept instead of straying into the magic territory as so many "realistic" animes do. The story was well written and engaging. Art: 6 This was made in the 80s so I understandthe animation wasn't the best. It was okay. Could of been better, but simple anime is Rumiko's style I guess.

Sound: 10
The soundtrack was amazing!! Even though they used the same sound effects and songs throughout the entire series, I never grew tired of them!! Banzai!!!

Characters: 10
I loved the characters. Or hated them. Only Rumiko can create charcters that we both love and hate. I honestly liked Shampoo, while others viewed her as a pain, I liked her. He characters I didn't like were Akane, Mousse, Ryoga and (my least favorite anime character of all) HAPPOSAI. Oooh he makes my blood boil!! Anyway, fabulous characters.

As I said before, this is my favorite anime ever. With engaging story, fun characters, complex relationships, funny jokes, amazing sound effects and its witty charm, what's not to love?

I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good laugh and doesn't mind nudity. This is a masterpiece. Great tv show. I wish they would do another season. So, if this review hasn't already convinced you, WATCH IT!!!
