Review of OreImo Specials

Ah yes, nothing I love more than light novel adaptations with confusing watch orders caused by, presumably, executive meddling. We're asked to disregard episode 12, or rather to watch it again but this time slightly different. Without meticulously checking against databases like this to make sure you're watching the right version you're more than likely to find the episodes in some bizzarro order and be confused by this whole section of the anime adaptation. Save yourself some time maybe and just don't watch any of it, OreImo is trash to the core anyway and not worth troubling yourself over. It should only be handled by hardcoremasochist weebs such as myself who'll watch anything the random number generator they use to decide what anime to watch next spits out (yes really.)

It's not that I don't think there are things about this series that are funny conceptually, I just find the overarching tone of actual blood-related sibling incest to be incredibly distasteful. It's good for a meme, but not for actual digestion as a story. Any time something good or funny happens it's undermined when you remember what show you're watching. Not horrible to watch and certainly never boring, just something I can't in good conscious give very high marks to. So, 7/10
