"Monster" is the best anime I've watched so far, several animes that I've seen and this is the best until now. So I want to do a spoiler-free review to pass on the points that make this anime a MASTERPIECE. Monster is an anime that talks about principles, values and ethics. It has historical facts and philosophical questions to address issues such as eugenics, nihilism and depersonalization. With an amazing storyline, incredible character development and extremely well-constructed dialogues, makes you reflect on life in general. Monster creates questions like "How much is a life worth" or "Is some life worth more than another?". The anime is incrediblypoetic and at the same time gloomy, it will make you question about the existence of good and evil and at different times the anime shows you the existence of the inner evil of each person, the monster that maybe exists inside all of us .

It is interesting how the author presents and develops the principles and individual characteristics that form each character. That's because the anime prioritizes the complexity of the characters and that's exactly why everything is built in a slow and detailed way, requiring patience and attention to watch.

Nothing in monster is random, the environment in which the story takes place, the characters, the dialogues... A MASTERPIECE.
That anime is the only one until now that I watched and think it lacks "anime". Its such a real thing, you feel the deepness poetry in that piece of art and you totally forget its "just a anime".

Do you understand me? Just go watch and thank me later :)
