Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion

It will take me years to sit with Evangelion. I only finished the show about a week ago and the End of Eva movie last night. I still have the rebuild movies, but emotionally, I cannot bring myself to watch those right now. I think the original ending in 25 and 26 are my favorite two episodes of any television series of all time. I think the EoE is beautiful and works very well as a companion piece to the original series. I don't have the words to elaborate at this point in time, to describe why I feel the way I do. And honestly, Imight never.

Eva has meant a lot to me over my intense multi-month long journey through it, and I hope that for any person interested in experiencing the show for the first time, it can mean just as much.
