Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion

This is my cup of tea, there are many other anime that are great works that itch different places, but this one gets just the spot. I liked the mecha theme and the biblical aesthetic, but when I started watching it I really didn't know what to expect. NGE is a introspective anime focusing mainly on the protagonist, however the main character bumps into many interesting personalities on his journey. The first couple of episodes open the curtains into the world of Evangelion and introduce you to the main character, like elevating on a roller-coaster. Closing in closer to the ending you're in for athrill, the ending ties everything up in full disclosure. A masterpiece.
