Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion

Re-watching Evangelion on Netflix (or parts of it) made me realize something. I am most-likely the dumbest human being to be conceived. I will substantiate that. Me, being the fifteen year old atheist that I am, thought of Evangelion in profound terms... when it was just likely Hideako's depression that inspired my Depression in the first place. Depression - a feeling of outcast, remorse, hatred of oneself..All of the signs are here in this very show, and my inabiliy to see beyond my "rose-tinted glasses" [Archaeon] made this less than a masterpiece in the brief amount of the show I decided to rewatch.

This is still one of, if not my absolute favorite piece of cinema of all time, but I personally think Netflix aged somethings poorly...

Would I recommend watching NGE? absolutely.
