It's a little boring, but it's good. It touches my personal fancy (retro games), which is the main reason I am watching it. I would actually say that the story itself is very well-written and constructed, although a bit standard and boring. Story-wise, it's just about an elementary-school pre-romance, and then a teenage love triangle. That part of it has little to do with retro games. If the story was driven by retro-games, it would make more sense. I like the EDs a lot. The art is actually great for a transparently CG show, but I think the transparently CG natures still hurts it.
