Review of The Wind Rises
The Wind Rises just got added on Netflix, and, because it is a Miyazaki film, I immediately saw it. The latest Ghibli film is just as good as any, and this movie is actually based on historical events (mostly), in contrast to Miyazaki's other works. The music is so incredibly beautiful, and Hisaishi did a great job composing, like he always do. The art work and cinematography are also incredible, especially the ones of the planes flying so freely that they perfectly captures the dream the movie is about. Spoilers ahead! *********************************************************************** OMG I cried when his wife died like why? Just why? WHHHHYYYYY? Their love story was sobeautiful! Like this movie, just being 2 hours long, made me feel as much emotion as Your Lie in April, which has 22 episodes to develop its characters. (Im not saying that Your Lie is bad, it is one of my favourite animes of all time.)
