Review of The 8th Son? Are You Kidding Me?

This is one of the most basic anime where there was potential for it yet the writing and storytelling is so lazy that it is difficult to watch. The characters have been butchered to the point where they are barely characters at all and more just plot devices. Overall, it is difficult to watch and is not a good adaptation of the manga. We do not empathize with any of the characters making it very bland. The animation feels unaccounted for and even the scenes which are meant to cause shock to the viewer are very underwhelming. There are many anime that takes thepremise of a person being reborn into another world so this is just not worth your time
