Review of High School DxD Hero
[You're required to have seen the previous four seasons, make sure to watch those first before progressing] After the original season finale by Studio TNK many fans despaired whether or not we would get a season four, but several years later a brand new studio by the name of Passione came to the rescue or did they? Highschool DxD Hero picks up from the third season DxD Born, Episode 09 and decided to follow the Light Novel more seriously, the adaptation being more faithful. Although not their fault, the animation crisp and vibrant colors that should have been a plus are less gothic and dark as the previousseasons leaving you feeling a little awkward since the vibrant colors rob the series of the rather dark atmosphere it had built itself around since season one.
that is not to say the series isn't any good, once moving past the drastic visual changes the animation is good and crisp, the fluidity isn't anything to scoff at and overall makes you consider a season five now whether the man, the myth, the legend Ichei Ishibumi himself will manage to snag one is another story.
I highly recommend for my fellow Ecchi men of culture.
