Review of Mob Psycho 100 II
Incredible second season for the series. It was destined to be great given the quality of ONE's manga material following the conclusion of the CLAW arc, but it could have gone badly with a studio not up to the task of adapting the material adequately. Fortunately, studio BONES returned to produce the series and it is clear from the first episode that this may have felt like a labor of love for them. This didn't simply feel like the second season of a really good anime, but rather something that will be spoken of highly for a long time... Something special. Can't really speak much ofthe story without spoilers, but you can look forward to the show getting more substance. The cool flashy fights and gags are still here (and better than ever), but this season Mob has finally decided to leave his shell and reflect on his own life. He analyzes his own relationships with others yielding a lot of heart breaking and beautiful moments which makes for a more interesting show compared season 1 which was largely comedic. The animation, voice acting, and music were all excellent.
I highly recommend it.
