Review of [Oshi No Ko]
Oshi No Ko is an anime with a lot going on. I honestly feel it’s difficult to talk about without spoilers but I’ll try. The best thing about it (that I feel is fairly obvious) is the art style. It’s absolutely gorgeous, particularly the eyes of the characters, and not just the ones with stars in them like Ai. I constantly found myself admiring the art in every episode. The story is very interesting and has a lot of potential that I feel has not been shown to us yet. I’m eagerly awaiting season 2 so we can dive deeper into these plot lines. Iwould recommend this to you if you like beautiful art, japanese idols, idol or mystery shows, or morally grey main characters.
🌸 My Favourite Characters 🌸
Ai Hoshino
Ruby Hoshino

The Good!!~
As previously mentioned, the art is amazing~ I also enjoyed the story of Ruby’s idol group very much and I’m really excited to see more from them! She has two classmates that interest me and I’m hoping to see more of them in the future!
The Bad…;
I wasn’t as interested in Aqua’s main story as much as Ruby’s (however i did enjoy everything with Love Now), maybe it’s because it hasn’t gone as deep as it can go yet. I also find Aqua’s relationship with Ai to be… disturbing, which I think is the intended reaction. Overall I just prefer Ruby > Aqua, despite Aqua being more of a main character
