Review of Horimiya

As someone who is a great fan of romance anime and has seen a lot of them, this was by far the worst one I’ve ever had the chance to witness. Don’t get me wrong. I’ve heard that the manga is much better, and even though I haven’t read it, I’m inclined to agree, because I can’t imagine anything worse than this. I’ll keep it simple: the whole anime is rushed, and therefore you have no chance to form any connection with the main characters. It focuses more on the side characters, who, in my opinion, are not very interesting. To me, for someone to saythat Horimiya is a good anime or, god forbid, the best is absolutely unimaginable.

I understand that some people may not be as experienced with romance anime as I am, but I still expect that if you are not completely clueless and have any real sense for the genre, you will agree with me that this anime is the biggest piece of garbage ever produced.

There are plenty of romance anime far more worth your time, so please read this before watching. I am someone who never judges anything without seeing it first, but I feel it is my duty to WARN you never to lay your eyes upon this wretched piece of trash.
