Kakushigoto is a comedic slice of life anime that has an wholesome setting. The spotlight is the interaction of the characters, which debuts the father and daughter duo, Kakushi Gotou and Hime Gotou. When first seeing the cover's artstyle, I immediately thought of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, both of which have that similarly distinct style. So you can imagine that I was looking forward for this one. Of course, Shaft didn't make this anime so.. Anyway, next the comedy. The comedy was not forced, it was put nicely. THANKFULLY (for the love of sausage) it wasn't extreme, as much as it has 'slice of life' written on it, it would probablyscared me that the comedy would stray far from the plot and normalcy itself.

The characters, they all have their respective roles that add comedic value.
like for example, the teacher and the main character.

The plot is good, kind of generic, but it's alright
the foreshadowing did the plot justice, it was intended so I can see they were serious about it lol.

Overall, I like this anime not only for its wholesomeness, but also
for its usage of comedy and interaction of characters in a specific setting.

8/10.
