This story by Ryukishi is confusing me, I'm not sure if Ryukishi is trying to adapt a higurashi spinoff based on K1, a new mystery series, or something entirely unrelated. It's not the type of story I expected when I saw Kei Maebara being in this series. I suppose it's a fun, comedy spinoff, but the story, to me, isn't very catchy. Expecting this is K1 from higurashi, his character feels really different only quoting manga lines. The bunny girl is an interesting character but I haven't gotten enough time to get to know her. The writing itself isn't bad, I just really don't seewhere the story is going, or why I should continue being interested. But I'm a Ryukishi fan, so I will continue reading. So for me I'm giving it a 6 for now. Might go up or down depending on where this story goes.
