8.1/10 The...Sugar... It's overwhelming... This manga is your classic trope of a popular girl teasing the average MC, but the small details in each chapter differentiate this manga from the rest. The plot is by no means special, as it follows the premise to the T. If anything, there are some things to be desired, such as more interactions with the mc's brother (because I assume they would live in the same house sos they would talk every day, right?) and further flashbacks about the mc's trauma. But the real charm of this manga does not come from an intricate plot, but the small and subtleinteractions between the mc and fmc. Think of those teasing mangas where you're just smiling at a certain scene, and that scene is basically this manga in every chapter. There's no great way to explain how good these scenes are without reading the story itself, as such a simple plot point in each chapter was executed beautifully.

The comedy/small humor is also on point, adding to how well the characters balance each other.

Though, this manga does have a mc with an inferiority complex, so if you're not a fan of "cringy" mangas, you probably won't enjoy this, as it is quite literally the entire premise. However, as a man who enjoys high school romance stories like no other, this is being added to my sugar jar.
