6.5/10 I’ll be the first to admit that the kingdom building story is one of if not the most boring premise, right along side the slow-life genre, so that does not do any favors for this manga. This manga was pretty ambitious with its play on the kingdom-building premise by incorporating the cliche trope of being banished, but apart from that, the story really does not excel in any regard. Rather, as a result of the usual cliches of the “banished” trope, a lot of the developments are shallow and seem half-@ssed. To keep the review short and the rundown of events from this manga: “Mcgets banished, people follow him since his intellect is that of a god, the old kingdom is f*cked cuz the mc is gone, problems then arise from the mc’s new territory, he fixes them, female characters that are well-known appear, and the harem continues.” And rinse and repeat. So… basically like any other kingdom story but a bit more cliche due to its “banished” trope.
I quite enjoyed the first chapter but from that point on, the story followed the same-old trap in a kingdom manga that makes it a boring snoozefest. Also, the art is rather crude, and it’s a bit hard to understand what is going on sometimes.
