Madougushi Dahliya wa Utsumukanai: Kyou kara Jiyuu na Shokunin Life · review
There are actually two different mangas here, a situation comparable with [The Apothecary Diaries] with two mangas telling the same story with different focuses and some rearranged scenes. The two series basically tells the initial days of Dahlia, our MC, right as she faces the usual OI scenario of having her engagement canceled by her ex-fiance. But whereas [Magic Artisan Dahliya Won't Hang Her Head ~A Free Craftsman Life from Now On~] immediately moves forward, [Magic Artisan Dahlia Wilts No More] takes its sweet time fleshing out Dahlia's past before moving forward. [Magic Artisan Dahliya Won't Hang Her Head ~A Free Craftsman Life from Now On~] endsmuch faster, only 2 volumes, and the story's structure resembles more of a standard slow life isekai story, with more shoujo-ish art and a closer focus on character relationships. This alone is a perfectly serviceable slow life story, with shoujo-ish art and a fluffier tone, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading the scanlated chapters out there.
