Kuzukago Mountain · review
In my most sincere opinion, this one-shot succeeds in every way. It draws you into this almost apocalyptic world, making you feel the suffering and difficulties faced not only by the protagonists every single day, but also by the secondary characters. The artist, Yuji Iwasaki, demonstrates a level of skill and comic craftsmanship that goes far beyond his limited experience. The dialogue flows smoothly, maintaining a coherent and high-quality narrative. Unfortunately, it will never receive a continuation, but seeing the giant steps Yuji Iwasaki has taken with his new manga — co-created with Gege Akutami — “Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo”, I can’t help but smile asI think about this artist’s future.
