Unnamed Memory Season 2 · review
Spoiler warning
This review may discuss plot details.
More than just another romance anime. At first, it seemed like a typical love story between a prince and a witch — nothing out of the ordinary. But by the end of season one, it delivers an unexpected twist that changes everything. The plot gets deeper and more complex, sometimes even confusing, mainly because the anime doesn't fully capture the richness of the original light novel. With only two seasons, it’s clear the adaptation couldn’t cover everything. The animation is average, but the world-building is impressive. For those who love reading, I highly recommend diving into the light novel — it fills in many important details andenhances the entire experience.
Each character feels shaped by the era they live in, and while the romance might not always be the focus, it’s present throughout. If the anime caught your interest, the novel will leave a lasting impression.
